今日の英単語：inception（insépʃən）
「出る順で最短合格！ 英検®1級 語彙問題完全制覇」の参考書では「始まり、開始」という意味、Weblioでは、「初め、発端」という意味です。私は観ていないのですが「inception」という映画もありますね。

ただ、「incept」という言葉があったような気がしたので、調べてみました。Weblioによると、「incept」という動詞の意味は「取り入れる、摂取する」という意味なので「inception」とは無関係なのか？と思ったらmerriam-websterで「archaic : BEGIN, COMMENCE, UNDERTAKE」とありました。「archaic」とあるので「incept」は通常「取り入れる、摂取する」という意味で使用されるのでしょう。
